LinkGen is run by DanixSoft (Lahore, Pakistan). This page explains what LinkGen stores, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@danixsoft.com.
What we store
- Your account: email and password (hashed), shared with other DanixSoft products you use.
- Your preferences: the onboarding answers (role, industry, audience, goals, tone, topics, writing sample, schedule and time zone).
- Your posts and plans: drafts, scheduled and published posts, chosen images, content plans and an activity log of what LinkGen did.
- Your LinkedIn connection: your LinkedIn member id, name and profile photo, and an access token. The token is encrypted at rest and is only used on our servers.
- Images you upload: stored so they can be attached to your posts. They are publicly reachable by their address, as they are meant to be posted.
How LinkedIn data is used
You connect through LinkedIn's own sign-in and approve two permissions: reading your basic profile (name and photo) and posting on your behalf. LinkGen uses them only to show who is connected and to publish the posts you wrote or scheduled, at the time you chose. It does not read your feed, connections or messages, and it never posts anything you did not create or schedule. You can disconnect in Settings or in your LinkedIn settings at any time.
AI processing
To write a post, the topic you give and your preferences are sent to our AI provider (Groq) and the answer comes back to you. We do not use your content to train models. Image searches send a few words describing the image to Pexels, Unsplash or Openverse.
We email you when posts need approval, fail to publish, or your LinkedIn connection is about to expire. You can turn these off in Settings.
Analytics
Our public pages use DanixSoft's own cookieless analytics. Inside the app, we do not record what you type or click.
Your choices
- Export everything as a file from Settings → Your data.
- Delete everything from Settings → Your data. Posts already on LinkedIn stay there; delete them on LinkedIn.
- The execution log is kept for 90 days.
